Whether your choice is black, chai, green, oolong, white or a healthy herbal tisane; for dedicated lovers of tea, this exhibition has been designed especially for you.

A tea lover's paradise! This totally interactive exhibition will feature some of the finest and most creative specialty 'tea purveyors from Melbourne and beyond.' Explore everything from boutique to global tea offerings all together for one massive brew party.



Organised by Tea Festivals Australia, the Sydney Tea Festival was the largest tea event in Australia last year with over 10,000 visitors. Who loves tea more, Melbourne or Sydney? We'll soon see.

The Melbourne cup of this rapidly steeping Tea Festival is being held on Sunday 29th May 2016 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Building. Explore, smell and taste a huge range of speciality loose-leaf teas.

Take your time wandering through this market style exhibition. There will be over 50 stallholders providing tea samples and food. A full list of exhibitors is available on the Melbourne Tea Festival website and is sure to have your mouth watering. Exhibitors include Art of Tea, Change Chai, Chocolette Patisserie, Eat Me Chutneys, Teas & Tisanes, Madame Flavour, Organics for Lily, Perfect South Green Tea, Rooftop Honey, SpiritualiTEA, Storm in a Teacup, Tea Envy, Tippity, Yarra Valley Tea Company, Whoopies Cookies and dozens more.

With the purchase of a $5 ceramic mug, festival guests can sample every tea on offer, with a built in souvenir to take home and keep. Teas on display include specialty loose-leaf tea and herbal tisanes of all styles.

Food trucks will provide a hearty lunch, but there will also be smaller sweet and savoury treats on offer. Put your feet up in the Brew Lounge and enjoy a cuppa tea along with with some musical entertainment.

Browse specialty and artisan tea stalls showcasing a wide range of tea related products, accessories and handcrafted homewares.

For something new and innovative, participate in a tea workshop. 'Immerse yourself in the finer details of tea.' Leading tea specialists will discuss topics such as tea blending, tastings and pairing.

The website offers a pre-purchased ticket option coming in late April with tickets priced at $7 per adult entry. General admission at the door will be $10 per adult. Children under 12 free.

Tasting cups are an additional $5.

The Melbourne Tea Festival is being held on Sunday 29th May 2016 from 9am – 4pm with Tea Workshops running from 9am – 5.30pm at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf, Melbourne.
