City Highland Fling
The Melbourne Tartan Festival is a celebration of Scottish heritage staged over 12-days from Wednesday 10th to Sunday 21st July with a variety of highland themed events staged at venues around Melbourne.
Melbourne Tartan Festival celebrates everything that's Scottish from bagpipe music to highland dance and great whisky.
Keynote events include a Whisky Dinner at Westin Melbourne on Wednesday 10th July commencing at 6.30 PM.
Guests will take a tour of Scotland with a 5-course dinner menu paired with a selection whisky from some of Scotland's finest distilleries. Tickets cost $180 per person.
The Victorian Pipers Association Championships will be staged at Presbyterian Ladies College, Burwood on Saturday 13th July between 9 AM and 4.30 PM. The Championships are a FREE event.
The festival is 12 days of everything Scottish winding up with a pipe band parade down Collins Street on Sunday 21st July.
That evening there'll also be a concert by the Hawthorn Pipe Band at Hawthorn Arts Centre commencing at 7.30 PM. Tickets cost Adults $35 and Concession $20.
