St Kilda beach will be bursting with colour on the 28th of February when the Melbourne Swin Classic takes to the open water.

This community fundraising event includes a variety of swimming courses for all ages and abilities, so anyone can truly have a go. And the best part is, with help from the Everyday Hero network, this event is expected to benefit over 660 Victorian charities including Swimming Victoria and The Alfred Foundation.

This year, the event is supported by Aussie swimming legend, Dawn Fraser. Other event ambassadors for this year's event include five-time Lorne Pier to Pub winner Sam Sheppard, 11 year old autism sufferer Annie Beard, and 15 year old Dan Canta, who is in training to be the youngest Australian male to cross the English Channel.

The day starts with both a 5K and 2.5K swim followed up by the 400m St Kilda Swim Classic, 400m kids swimming event, a free-to-enter 200m swim, a 1200m swim and finishing off with a
4×400 metre club relay.

The event will take place at St Kilda beach and participants should register online in advance, and registrations will open on site on the day from 9:00am.
