I am a world traveller & a mom of two, (8 & 6). I love to meet people, and am fascinated that there are 7 billion stories out there to be explored. I think Melbourne is the most happening city to live in with all the fun activities around town.
Holiday Fun at Melbourne Star & Wonderland Speigeltent
The winter school holidays are not far away and surely your calendar will be filled up pretty quickly as the variety of events catered for this time of the year is extravagant. But you don't want to miss the sparkliest activities around town.
The Melbourne Star has announced a list of activities for children's school holidays from June 28 to July 12, and mum and pop can come along for a ride as well.
Part of the festivities include the ever popular face-painting, roving entertainment, crafts for the kids and balloon sculpting. This alone could be an attractive incentive for the family to visit the newest Star on the Melbourne Horizon if you have not already been there. However, there is more.
For the school holidays only, the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel is joining hands with its neighbour Wonderland Speigeltent to offer a package deal to their guests. The deal includes tickets to the show Winter Wonderland Circus Spectacular only (rides not included) and a flight on the Star. Tickets can only be purchased online.
Remember, the fireworks are on again in Docklands on Fridays during the months of July and August. If you plan to visit the Star on a Friday during the school holidays in July i.e. 4th and 11th, you can catch the fireworks as well. Plan ahead and purchase the tickets in advance for a guaranteed spot on this special adventure.
Please note: the venue for the Melbourne Star activities will be located on the Star Deck or within the Star Shop; both these areas are accessible to guests only.
