For all the fashionisters out there, the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week for 2015 is soon approaching and is set to be a fun and trendy week. This year is a bit of a special one with the launch of the Vogue Fashion Night Out (a VIP shopping event on steroids) for the first time for Melbourne. The VFNO is a three-day long shop fest spanning over the opening weekend of fashion week with a lot of special offers and retail therapy around the city from Flinders Land to Emporium and to the high end of Collins Street.
Model Ashley Hart returns again this year as the celebrity ambassador for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, the stunning model says she is looking forward to "absolutely everything to do with the event".
There will be heaps to see, if you are into bigger design names then head on over to the Melbourne Town Hall and book in your tickets early for the spectacular runway shows on offer on most nights and for the first time in recent years there will be no repeat shows which means you should book your tickets extra early, especially for closer seats to the runway). Each Designer Runways will be unique themed, there is even something for the gents out there for the first Thursday in September will be a MSFW Mr runway for menswear. Cute boys in suits.. um what can be better.. and I'm sure the suits are great too.
Experience a 3-day long VIP shopping spree this year
For those of you who might just want to dip your toes into the world of fashion there are plenty of free events at the MSFW HUB and probably my favourite places to visit during the festival. Located at the City Square (67 Swanston Street, Melbourne) not too far from the Town Hall this is place to be for free workshops and runway shows, and occasionally a free few samples including Darrell Lee chocolates and hair treatments.
