Event:
A joyful celebration of inspirational soul & gospel legends

Melbourne Singers of Gospel are celebrating the start of the festive season with their annual gala performance at Alex Theatre, St. Kilda on Saturday 2 December 2017 (2 performances only).

This year's concert is entitled 'Make Your Own Kind of Music' and is a joyful celebration of inspirational soul and gospel legends, including Stevie Wonder, Leonard Cohen, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Mama Cass and Broadway Inspirational Voices.

Directed by Dr Darren Wicks, the concert event will see the massed voices of Melbourne Singers of Gospel accompanied by the cool jazz-blues sound of The Soul Train band.

Melbourne Singers of Gospel are an accomplished choir renowned for their authentic gospel vocals, dynamic choreography and elegant presentation.

Be inspired by the energy, rhythms and harmonies of 100 soulful voices. Be moved by the foot-stomping Soul Train band! There's only one way to experience a gospel choir and that's live!
