See the fashions at this Melbourne fashion parade
Fashion festivals can be so much fun! Often you see the latest fashions as well as the real way out ones which I always find fascinating! Many people would not wear these, however, they are really very clever and fascinating.
The Melbourne Retail Festival will be on 12th to 13th February 2019 in Melbourne, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. This festival is a premium fashion trade event, which is open to all areas of fashion, jewellery and footwear trades. Although it is classed as a trade-only event, registered business and representatives in the fashion industry are eligible to attend.
This leaves a large scope and includes up and coming designers, fashion students/graduates, bloggers, stylists and industry personalities. So if you fit into any of these, this is a fashion event you will not want to miss.
They will be showcasing established and emerging, local and international brands. The Melbourne Retail Festival allows buyers, wholesalers and designers to connect and showcase their latest collections and offerings.
This is a FREE event and registrations are now open here.
It will be held at the iconic Melbourne venue of the Meat Market, 3 Blackwood Street, North Melbourne. This is a hub for creative arts and cultural events and is a place where many Melbourne events are held. It is located North of the Melbourne CBD, which is famous for the Queen Victoria Market and some of Melbourne's best bars and cafes. The Meat Market is also close to transport and is accessible in a number of different ways.
This will be a 2-day festival with about 150 brands on show, with a range of categories including:
Technology and Manufacturing
Some of the brands which will be shown in this fashion parade include the following:
This event is put on by The Australian Trade Exhibitions Pty Ltd and their team is made up of staff with over 40 years of combined industry experience. They have a great deal of experience in event organisation and exhibitions, fashion and footwear as well as fashion sales.
PARKING Meat Market recommends using public transport options when visiting the venue. They have no public parking available on site and the surrounding area has limited permit, metered and timed on-street parking. Nearby hospitals have limited parking available for a fee.
This promises to be a worthwhile event for the fashion conscious, and anyone wanting to showcase their unique designs of fashion articles.
