For A Deeper Glimpse Into The World of Books
The seventh Melbourne Rare Book Week (MRBW) will be held this year from Friday, 29 June 2018 - Sunday, 8 July 2018 with various events at selected locations throughout the city and surrounding suburbs, culminating with the 46th ANZAAB Australian Antiquarian Book Fair from Friday, 6 July - Sunday, 8 July 2018 at Wilson Hall in The University of Melbourne.

Entry to all MRBW events is free but please check the website for program details or see here for a printed program. Entry to the book fair is also free and will feature 32 exhibitors including booksellers from the US, the UK, and Japan.

Here is a selection of events from this year's program:

Dark Tales - Gothic Traditions in Children's Books & Fairy Tales
For a history of children's Gothic tales. Looks wonderfully dark and compelling!

Dark Imaginings - Gothic Tales of Wonder: Curator's Floor Talk
Join the curator, Jen Hill, for a walk through the above exhibition. This year marks some important Gothic anniversaries especially for those who are fans of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights.
