Pull up a pew and get ready for a celebration of Melbourne's music scene. St Paul's Cathedral standing at the very heart of the City, across from Flinders Street Station, was designed by William Butterfield and boasts a rich history with the first stone being laid in 1880.
Meanwhile, in the carpark next-door, there will be a huge line-up of local and international acts. 'The Carpark' will be home to lunch performances, live sets and incredible gigs.
Check out the program here for details on all of the events being held at MMW Hub: St Paul's Cathedral. Please note that some of the performances are free and some are ticketed during these times.
Some of the headliners over the nine days of the festival include the densely layered vocal harmonies of Juliana Barwick, hip-hop and R&B from Sampa the Great and Fortunes, as well as Canadian Balearic-house producer and DJ Jacque Green. Local favourite Banoffee will be returning from her new home in LA on the back of some excellent new singles.
Apart from the MMW Hub at the Cathedral, other events will be held all around Melbourne including Parliament House, MPavilion, State Library Victoria, Melbourne Town Hall, Meat Market, Melbourne Recital Centre, Federation Square and the Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio.
