Westerfolds Park at Fitzsimons Lane, Templestowe is situated beside the Yarra River and offers over 120 hectares of parkland perfect for a variety of activities, and includes an adventure playground for children. This is where the scene will be set for the upcoming Melbourne Memory Walk & Jog on Sunday 22 April 2018 from 7am to 11am, along the Westerfolds Park Circuit. Vehicle entry is available from Fitzsimons Lane or Porter Street. Ticket prices are Adult $35.00; Child (6-17 years) $25.00; Family $80.00; Junior (0-5 years) $0.00 and Senior (60 years) $25.00. This fundraiser event is to help raise much-needed finances to support Dementia Australia. Whether you walk, run or jog, your registration for the 5km walk, 5km run or 10km timed run will help those impacted by dementia. With an estimated 104,622 Victorians living with dementia, services are in even higher demand. Young and old are encouraged to participate in this inclusive event that'll be filled with family-friendly activities. Anyone and everyone can do it and all ages and fitness levels are welcome.
