Following the success of their joint concert in Warrnambool in 2016, Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra and The Cindy Lee Ensemble are proudly presenting 'Strings and Singers Together Again'.

Held on Sunday 2nd April in the intimate venue of St Bartholomew's Anglican Church, this special live music will feature the Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra and the Cindy Lee Ensemble, a fabulous vocal group from Warrnambool, performing an exciting repertoire of contemporary and classical music.

Comencing at 2.30pm, concert-goers will be treated to a performance of 'Adelaide Dances' by renowned Sydney composer and virtuoso mandolinist, Stephen Lalor, and the beautiful 'Mother and Sister' by Manos Hadjidakis.

The Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra will then by joined by The Cindy Lee Ensemble for renditions of Rob Kay's 'Homeward Bound', Billy Joel's heart-wrenching 'Goodnight My Angel', Tears For Fear's 'Mad World' and Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah'.

The Cindy Lee Ensemble will then delight audiences of all ages with performances of 'Blackbird' by The Beatles, 'Electricity' from Billy Elliot the Musical, 'Sounds of Silence' by Simon & Garfunkel, 'The Rose' by Bette Midler, 'Tenterfield Saddler' by Peter Allen, 'The Prayer' by Celine Dion & Andrea Bocelli (The Prayer) and 'No One Is Alone' from Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods. It's a great line-up with something for everyone!

Come and spend an Autumn Sunday afternoon in the company of Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra & The Cindy Lee Ensemble.
