If you're looking for inspiration to hit the road and explore this wonderful country of ours, then 2018 Melbourne Leisurefest 2018 is for you. From Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 October, you'll find everything you need to start planning your next adventure.
Melbourne Leisurefest showcases the best in caravans, recreational vehicles, 4x4 vehicles and accessories and all the outdoor camping accessories you never even knew you needed.
Check out the huge range of caravans, pop-tops, tents, camper trailers, motorhomes and campervans. There will also be hundreds of exhibitors displaying the latest models and outdoor products, many of which will be on display for the very first time. Merv Hughes Aussie sporting legend Merv Hughes is a mad keen fisherman and loves going on caravanning adventures. He will be sharing stories, tips and hints on all things angling, trawling and casting, including how the "big one" got away.
Get up close and personal with snakes and other reptiles as the team from Reptile Awareness Displays provide you with all the information you need to know about reptiles in the wild during their interactive demonstration. Shows will be running every 30 minutes from 10am and you'll learn about reptiles and snake bite prevention.
For the kids, there will be free rides available on the Saturday and Sunday and plenty of fun entertainment. Sign them up to the Caravanning Explorers' Club, where they can pick up a free show bag.
Plenty of food and drink options will be available on the day, with a large covered seating area.
Dogs on leads are also welcome, because after all, adventures are for the whole family.

Leisurefest is held at Sandown Racecourse, approximately 25 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. There's plenty of free car parking available and is a fully accessible venue with disabled access ramps to all pavilions and buildings. Dedicated parking spaces are also available.
Alternatively, jump on a train. Sandown Racecourse is just a short walk from Springvale Railway Station and the Sandown Park Railway Station is located at Sandown Racecourse.
