Latin Party Time
The annual Melbourne Latin Summer Festival is a free event which routinely attracts more than 40,000 visitors every year to take part in and watch all types of arts, culture, fashion and entertainment of Latin origin.
The 2018 Latin Summer Festival will be the 5th annual presentation of this colorful event.
Get along to Tom's Block in the Royal Botanic Gardens and you'll see and hear roving performing artists in parades of Latin music & dance including Tango, Salsa, Samba and lesser-known styles like Cumbias, Capoeira and Batucada.
This FREE 3-day event will be staged over the weekend Friday 5th to Sunday 7th January between Midday and 11 PM each day.
The annual Latin Summer Festival will have something for Latin lovers of all ages.
There'll be take-away food stalls with 20 vendors featuring the very best in Latin cuisine from Chile, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Brazil. Enjoy a bar and beer-garden featuring some great summer cocktails and refreshing Latino beer, including $5 beers served before 4 PM.
