An event in collaboration between the City of Melbourne and the Asian Community of Australia , look forward to the Moon Lantern Festival over the weekend of 10 and 11 September 2022 from 12pm to 10pm Sat & 1-8pm Sun at Queensbridge Square, 3 Queens Bridge Street, Southbank. An epic event stretched over two days, to enjoy exciting performances, food and beverages, register here for this free event. Cultural performances galore, there's the Lion dance, Bollywood dance, fan dances and hip hop dance covers all on the big red stage. There's also kids rides, street food, lantern-making activities and much more. Stay on a little longer as the sun goes down and watch the festival come to life, filled with colour from illuminated lanterns that are traditionally used to celebrate and give thanks to the Moon. It's going to be a full day of fun, food and live entertainment.

Have you heard of the Iron Stomach Challenge? Part of the festival, it'll be held on Sat 10 Sep at 4pm at Queensbridge Square. Watch the contestants clench their stomachs and brace themselves for an out-of-this-world gastronomic experience. There are 5 challenges and the last one standing will be crowned victorious.
