Event:
Time to get your rodeo fix with cowboys from all over the world.
This 17th annual International Rodeo event will showcase talent from such locations as USA, Canada, Brazil, Italy, Ireland, New Zealand, Mexico and our very own Aussie cowboys. This massive show includes not only the best bucking bulls and horses on display but also the unique competition that a rodeo can bring and it all comes here to Melbourne for us locals to enjoy.

This rodeo event will be held on Saturday the 5th of November at the Hisense Arena. Tickets start from $59.90 for kids and can vary in price for adults depending on your chosen seating location. To purchase your tickets, go online to Ticketek and search for the Melbourne International Rodeo details, or contact them on 132 849.

Barrie Collins fundraising ride:
Additional to this competition, Barrie Collins, a professional rodeo photographer, will take on the challenge to ride a bull himself.

Although not a rider, he has decided to undergo this extreme feat to raise money for Cancer Research at the Peter Mac 'CanCare Cancer Research Unit'.

To sponsor Barrie for this extraordinary act, you can either make a straight forward monetary donation, or you can set a dollar amount for every second that you think he will be able to stay on the bull, with a maximum time of 8 seconds.

If Barrie does manage to last the full 8 seconds, he will be paid a bonus by the Tarraroo Rodeo Company, with all proceeds going towards this amazing Cancer research unit.

So why not come along to this unique event that will help to raise money and ensure you and your family have a fantastic night out.
