Take your hats off to Labassa
Opulent historic mansion, Labassa will again play host to the Melbourne International Millinery Competition. There will be a public preview of entries during the Open Day on Sunday, February 18. (Book tickets below)

Entrants include a variety of 88 hats from milliners in Spain, Germany, America, India and, of course, Australia amongst many others.

Demonstrations of silk flower making will be ongoing throughout the day. You can also take a tour of the house which was built in 1862 and features a remarkable social history, as well as spectacular architectural and design features.

There will be refreshments available in the Tea Rooms, including Labassa's famous home-made scones, sandwiches, coffee and tea.
