Celebrating 25 years, expect a show unlike any other. The Southern Hemisphere's largest horticultural festival, the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show will run from 25-29 March 2020 at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens, 9 Nicholson St, Carlton.

Get your TICKETS HERE. Children 14 years and under go FREE and do not require a ticket for entry. For specific dates, adults are $31.42 and concession $27.23. The any one day flexible single-day tickets cost $34.55 and $30.37 respectively and the multi-day, attend any two days tickets are $47.12 and $40.83. Gather a group of 10 people and save further (works out to $25.07 per person). You can also add merchandise to your cart to take to the checkout.


Booking and purchasing tickets to a variety of workshops is also on the same page eg. Holland America High Tea, Melbourne Flower School Workshops, Botanical Workshops - Kokedama, and Botanical Couture Workshops. Take note that the workshop does not give you entry to the show. You must purchase a separate ticket to the show. Choose to support Beyond Blue and add $5-$20 to the cart to help people in Australia achieve their best possible mental health.

With a showcase of more than 900 exhibitors, this event is the place to be for all garden lovers and green thumbs. An incredible lineup of some of the greatest landscape and floral designers in Australia and abroad will be there, pulling out all the stops to create the most fantastical and floral installations ever seen at the event.


Choose to enjoy the Gardens by Twilight on Friday 27 March until 9pm for a night of gourmet food and drinks and an enhanced entertainment program with Triple J Unearthed artist, singer/songwriter Harrison Storm headlining this year's live evening entertainment program with a captivating performance. Explore everything on offer differently, all under the stars and amongst the designs. Award-winning designers will have the interior of the building looking magical, not to mention smelling good with gorgeous scents filling the air from thousands of freshly cut and styled blooms.

The newly revamped arts and sculpture precinct will play host to more than 300 artists representing their craft. It's where you can purchase original pieces to take home or simply watch artist demonstrations. If you're a DIY enthusiast, the Show will feature over 150 garden retail exhibitors selling the latest in garden innovation, plus new and exotic breed plants and also feature a number of immersive workshops.

This year's Show also welcomes the inaugural Ryman Healthcare Balcony Garden Competition to reflect the changing nature of the Australian backyard. Many of us urban dwellers don't necessarily want to compromise our love for nature though we have limited square meters. Be inspired as the competition showcases garden designs with a unique take on mini landscapes that adds another creative twist to this world-class event. This really is a Show for the whole family as there are interactive activities from face painting, plant potting, creative painting and more to entertain and engage the kids as well. The whole family has 10 new ways to explore the Show.
