Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side! If you want more sophisticated jokes and antics than my humble efforts, why not head along to this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow 2013. Now in it's 15th year and showcasing some amazing talent. The WA leg of the tour will feature Dave Callan and Ronny Chieng both fantastic comedians, who are sure to produce a belly laugh or two. More comedic artists are to yet to be announced.

Dave Callan [/LINK] has performed on Rove and Rove Live as well as having a recurring role in Spicks and Specks he is also a regular performer in the year 'Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala'. Some of you might know Callan from Triple JJJ graveyard shift which he presents.



Ronny Chieng is a Malaysian born and Singapore and American raised Melbourne Law School graduate who was named Best Newcomer at the 2012 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Last year's Roadshow featured some 90 performers, in 65 towns and travelled a distance of 25,000 km, before heading to Singapore and Hong Kong for sell-out seasons.

For lover's of comedy a little known fact - the Melbourne International Comedy Festival is one of the largest comedy festivals in the world alongside Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival. It has grown to be Australia's largest cultural event selling more tickets than any other festival. 600,000 tickets have been sold over the Comedy Festival's 26 year history.
