ImaGINe the possibilities
Melbourne is holding its first ever Gin festival this November. Juniperlooza will be held on the 28th and 29th of November 2015. Located at Pilgrim and Riverland, with Federation Wharf and the Yarra River as a backdrop, Go along and try your hand at the drinks, and some fabulous gin puns!
True gin lovers can purchase a 'passport' and use it to receive a drink and stamp from each of the varies gin stalls. The passport also gives you priority entry for talks and sessions by the gin makers. Finally, you'll also go into the draw to win a gin-themed prize.
You don't need to buy a passport to enjoy 2 days of gin though. All festival attendees can do fantastical gin tastings, try GINspired food, and watch the roving entertainment.

Put together by West Wind Gin, Pilgrim and Riverland, there are some other big names signed up already. Andrew Marks from Bass & Flinders Distillery, and Four Pillars' Cam Mackenzie as well as others yet to be announced, will be there.
Everyone I know loves a Summer festival, but one with gin in many guises is going to be a winner. There will be a range of drinks available at the festival of course, but Popstic Ice Cream are also bringing a range of incredible sorbets. Tell me that doesn't sound good on a hot day! They will be bringing the favourites from their day to day range, as well as a gin themed range. This will include Scoop and Serve G & T Sorbet, Negroni Sorbet, Salty Dog Sorbet and Mini Heart Shape Popstic Singapore Sling.
The organisers are confident that you will find something you like. After all, there is so much more to gin than a gin and tonic, and they want to share it with you.
Tickets won't be available until later in the month, but you can get your party shoes ready because all of this is just the beGINning! of Juniperlooza.
