The Melba Spiegeltent is an official venue of the Melbourne Fringe.

Over two and a half weeks, come and see some of the Fringe's most electrifying, fascinating and awe-inspiring shows in the wonderful Melba Spiegeltent!

Located at the Circus Oz home in Collingwood, Melba Spiegeltent was built in Belgium in 1910. It travelled across Europe and saw numerous performances through its bevelled doors, including Edith Piaf and Kurt Weil in the '20s and '30s. In 2006 it came to Australia and was renamed after Australia's fabulous opera soprano, Dame Nellie Melba.

Since its Circus Oz debut in January 2011, Melba Spiegeltent has presented some of the very best of Melbourne's arts and community events of Melbourne's arts and community events and this year will present 7 extraordinary shows as part of the Melbourne Fringe.

There will be something for everyone, from cabaret to hypnosis and performance art and even something for the kids! Better yet, this beautiful and charming venue will also have a pop-up bar onsite (open 5:30 - 9:30) and a Mr Burger burger truck to meet all your between-show food and beverage needs!
