Come and enjoy a week-long celebration of the growth of Melbourne at the Old Treasury Building. This event traces the foundations of Melbourne as a city, from its European settlement to when Melbourne became the first capital city of Australia and further. The week-long experience includes free talks and giveaways and starts soon!

Some amazing features for the week include:

1. A walk with Kenneth Park. Kenneth works as a lecturer, curator, presenter and tour leader. He will start the day off with a leisurely walk and informative talk that will commence at the Old Treasury Building and finish at the State Library of Victoria. This tour is $25 pp, will make use of trams in the city and divulge the story of the colonial era of Melbourne.

2. Talks from Margaret Anderson, Dr Dianne Reilly AM, Dr Judith Smart, Jack Norris and many more. These talks are on topics ranging from Bushrangers, Ned Kelly, Life During WWII and Melbourne during the Gold Rush. Definitely not to be missed and free for everyone to enjoy.

3. Another prime opportunity is a Twilight Tour of the Old Treasury Building with Heritage Architect: Ivar Nelsen. This tour is $25 pp and includes refreshments. You'll start this personally guided tour with a glass of bubbles and then visit Executive chambers, private apartments, offices and more.

The opening week starts on Sunday 7th of May and bookings are essential for some of the talks and tours.
