Handpicked for you
The Melbourne Food & Wine Festival 2016 hits our streets between 4th and 13th March. With more than 200 events on the program, it can be difficult to select which to attend. Here are some suggestions for the best of the best.

1. Latin American Street Food Fiesta at Lady Carolina

Lady Carolina's street food festival will be an exciting exploration of the four corners of Latin America, taking you on a culinary journey from the fertile highlands of Argentina, the magical jungles of Brazil, and the coastal regions of Peru, through to the forests of Colombia and the markets of Mexico. Steering the ship will be Cameron Dening and Blair Williams in the kitchen.

2. Gontran Cherrier at the Urban Dairy

For the 10 days of the festival, Queensbridge Square, 3 Queensbridge Street, Southbank, will be the home for the 2016 Festival Hub. There will be a daily rotation of events and menus from expert cheese and ice-cream makers from around the globe, including Big Gay Ice Cream, Gelato Messina and more.

Internationally renowned French baker, Gontran Cherrier, will be taking up residence at the boulangerie during the Festival. Start your day with a steaming coffee and warm crusty bread fresh from the oven, or treat yourself to a buttery baked item, best eaten on the spot - yum!
