Friday drinks in Melbourne have become more affordable thanks to the City of Melbourne's FOMO promotion. In addition to meal offers , many restaurants and bars are serving up discounts and promotions on beers, wines, spirits and cocktails every Friday from 14 May to 4 June. Here are some of the thirsty quenching deals to help get your Friday festivities started. Check with each venue regarding reservations and terms.

  • Edwin Wine Bar and Cellar - two-for-one cocktails, beer and wine at this specialty wine venue.

  • Cabinet Bar - $4 Furphy beers or $6 wine and bubbles from 4pm to 6pm at this Parisian-style bar.

  • Riverland Bar - two-for-one bottles of sparkling, prosecco or champagne from 4pm to 9pm.

  • The Bank on Collins - $6 beers, $5 wines, $8 spirits and $12 cocktails specials.

  • Whisky and Alement - explore over 1000 whiskies and get 20% off all drinks from 4pm to 5pm.



  • Lui Bar - $15 cocktails or $10 wine and beer from 5pm to 7pm.

  • Self Preservation - two-for-one cocktails from 4pm to 6pm.

  • Meatball & Wine Bar - $10 Italian spritz and beers between 4pm and 6pm.

  • Heroes - half price beer, cider and wines from 4pm to 6pm.

  • The Boatbuilders Yard - two-for-one bottles of sparkling, prosecco or champagne from 4pm to 9pm.



  • StoryVille - two-for-one cocktails from 5pm to late.

  • IceBar - The only ice bar in Australia offers a free ice shot when you make a Friday booking.

  • The General Assembly - two-for-one bottles of sparkling, prosecco or champagne from 4pm to 9pm.

  • Good Heavens -half price beer, cider and wine from 4pm to 6pm.

  • Batman's Hill on Collins - buy one, get one free cocktails from 4pm to 7pm in the Oak Room.



  • Pilgrim Bar - two-for-one bottles of sparkling, prosecco or champagne from 4pm to 9pm.

  • Lost and Found Bar - groups of 4 get $19 bottles of house wine, $5 house spirits and 2-for-1 espresso martinis from 4pm to 6pm.

  • The Carlton Club Hotel - 25% off all tap beer and wine during normal happy hour 4.30pm to 6.40pm.

  • Sergy Boy - mention FOMO Fridays between 3pm to 6pm for buy one get one free mixed drinks with vodka, gin and rum.

  • Asado - enjoy two-for-one sangria and tap beers on the deck between 4pm to 6pm at this Riverside Quay restaurant.



  • BangPop - $16 Thai spiced margaritas and Siam Chambord sours from 4pm to 9pm.

  • Akaiito Restaurant - two-for-one on six signature cocktails between 5pm and 7pm.
