July, Melbourne is still in for a treat to see out the last month of winter. Many of these events capture the history and the true essence of Melbourne as a dynamic, creative and friendly city.
These events are presented to you in date order, as opposed to an order of preference.
1. Mali in the City - Melbourne Zoo's 150th Birthday Celebrations
Although the celebrations for Melbourne zoo's 150th anniversary started last month, the City of Melbourne will come alive with elephant like sculptures. 2. Melbourne International Film Festival
Melbourne is a film lovers city, and the
Melbourne International Film Festival is living proof of this claim. This festival is now in its 61st year, and is no doubt one of the oldest film festivals in the world. That is amazing Melbourne. This year's festival line up encompasses a feast of different cinematic treats: feature films from more than 50 countries. Great for established and emerging film artists alike.
3. Build Green Expo
Melburnians are taking an interest in anything environmental. The
HIA Build Green Expo is easily Australia's largest expo on anything green. The latest in solar power technology, green energy and greywater systems to name will be on show at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
4. Herald Sun Home Show
If you are planning on going to the above, you'll also receive complimentary entry to the

5. Melbourne Writers Festival
