A leisurely spot to spend the evening
A tour on the city circle tram took me to Victoria Harbour Dockland area, which I decided to explore. The early evening mild sun and luckily no rain, tempted me to walk down the promenade along Central Pier. The sheer tranquillity that I experienced being close to that water body is inexplicable. The tall buildings on the other side reflecting the sun and in turn being mirrored in the water was a beautiful sight. Not to mention the fun in watching ships come and go. Truly a photographer's paradise.

You can grab a bite at the number of cafes and sushi bars dotting the way or make your way to the Harbour Town in the next block. On the other side is the sprawling Etihad Stadium.

Easily accessible by public transport, Docklands is Melbourne's new hub for entertainment and relaxation.
