Arrival for the event is at 11.15am and the event commences at 11.30am (race time 12pm) and throughout the afternoon, guests will be treated to delightful selection of dishes, celebrating the best of the seasonal Summer produce.
To tantalise the tastebuds, guests will enjoy the Amuse Bouche Chef's Selection. An Entrée of Smoked salmon terrine, dill & lemon cream, petite caper salad with crusty bread, alternating with Pan roasted pork belly, white bean purée, apple & fennel salad will follow.
For main, guests can sample the Prosciutto wrapped chicken breast, succotash, slow roasted tomatoes & rocket pesto or 180g eye fillet (cooked medium), thyme & garlic roasted potatoes, field mushroom, onion jam & jus.
And to satisfy the sweet tooth, enjoy a Dark chocolate, salted caramel & Oreo pie, raspberries & double cream or Coconut & lemon curd cheesecake, vanilla bean ice cream & popping candy.
As you indulge on each crafted dish in the beautiful riverside location, there will also be live music, sweeps, lucky door and best dressed prizes.
The official Melbourne Cup Lunch will continue until 3pm, but you are more than welcome to spend the afternoon over some drinks enjoying the live music and atmosphere.
