Frock up, dress up and turn up to watch the Melbourne Cup 2014 on the big screen is an invitation extended to all race lovers. This invitation is for the 4th of November Melbourne Cup Garden party to be held at Longuevue, Kenthurst, which is fast becoming one of the much-anticipated events among many in and around Sydney.
The stunning location, Longuevue, a stately home in Kenthurst, has not only been the venue for many a successful cooperate event in the past but also has been the location for popular television programs and commercials. This year Longuevue is opening its gates to host a chic garden party to celebrate the race that stops a nation. The well-manicured ample gardens surrounding the home provide a perfect setting to host the celebrations.

The afternoon is planned to set off with canapés served together with a complimentary flute of Duperrey champagne. Through out the afternoon the guests get the chance of witnessing the race on the big screen while mingling and networking with likeminded people. A delicious lunch is served buffet style ending with coffee. For the pleasure of those with a sweet tooth, Lindt chocolate is on the cards as well.

Its no secret that the race not only stops a nation but it also gets the nation all dressed up. The hosts of the Melbourne cup garden party at Longuevue is set to reward the efforts of those dressed up as there are prices on offer for not only the best dressed but also for that best and innovative hat that floats around on the day.

A team of beauticians from Skinstitut, the fastest growing skincare brand in Australia, will also be present on the day to provide complimentary face readings to all the guests. To add to the excitement, wellness and beauty expert and the creator of Myth minx, Fiona Tuck the managing director of Skinstitut will also be speaking at the event imparting some useful beauty wisdom upon the guests of the afternoon. The event most certainly is promising to provide an enjoyable and an informative afternoon with food, fun and competitions galore.
By attending the event at Longuevue, the guests will not only get the chance of having a gala time but they would also be contributing to a very worthy cause as all the proceeds of the event go to help the Kids Of Oz charity. The charity, which works in conjunction with Sydney community Foundation, is committed to improve the lives of all disadvantaged kids in Australia with a particular focus on indigenous children of the community. The celebrations start off at 12.30pm on the 4th of November and will continue on till 4.30pm. Tickets are available online.
