No better way to start the year than with the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra's first performance on 28 February 2014 at Deakin Edge, Federation Square.

It will feature two contrasting Mozart masterpieces. Piano Concerto No. 27 performed by Anna Goldsworthy, a pianist of rare refinement and a fine musical communicator for Mozart's chilling and mysterious final piano concerto.

Mozart's Linz Symphony which was composed in just four days will be performed in a more unreserved mood.

William Hennessy will direct the concert which will also feature Mendelssohn - String Symphony No. 10 and Sibelius Impromptu for String Orchestra.

This concert is a tribute to Mozart's creativity and invention.

If you enjoy classical music, head to Deakin Edge to hear Melbourne Chamber Orchestra perform Mozart's Last Concerto on Friday 28 February 2014.
