The One Day Shopping Festival festivities return to Melbourne Central on November 28 with a distinct Christmas theme.
This early Christmas celebration will see over 150 Melbourne Central retailers offer customers discounts of up to 50%, live entertainment from local performers, a range of exciting and interactive events, a selection of festive street food and Australia's first ever holographic fashion show, staring model Kate Peck and skater Corbin Harris.
This festival coincides with the launch of Melbourne Central "Destressmas" - a range of activities and events, designed to make Christmas shopping stress free; there will be three minute massage stations, gift wrapping stations and "destressmas masters" to help you find the perfect gifts for friends and family.
Key events and offers which are part of the Melbourne Central One Day Shopping Festival include:
* Speed Dating
A Christmas-themed speed dating event in the Butterfly enclosure.
* Festival Street PerformersRoving street performers will be performing in and around the centre, dazzling shoppers with their acrobatic tricks.
* Festive Food Trucks
McIntyre Lane will host a range of iconic street food vendors throughout the day, including Gumbo Kitchen, Taco Truck and Yogurddiction.
* Christmas Light Show
The Corner will be the site of a Melbourne Central light show.
* Centre Wide Treasure Hunt
You favourite retailers will be offering free gifts through the festival.
