I write for Weekend Notes and I take photographs, usually sunsets and sunrises. Occasionally I include my photos in my articles. I like to promote Geelong, and activities around Geelong.
One Day Shopping Festival, Thursday 22nd May, 2014 from 10am to 10pm.
Melbourne Central Shopping
As The Coop's Shot Tower celebrates 125 years (since being built), Melbourne Central has a One Day Shopping Festival to mark the launch of the Shot Tower Heritage Week.
Shot Tower Heritage Week is a celebration of the historic Shot Tower that the Melbourne Central Shopping Centre has been built around. What better way to celebrate than by having a week long series of free tours, exhibitions and installations? Even better than that, and more exciting for all the shoppers out there, is the One Day Shopping Festival on Thursday 22nd May.
At the One Day Shopping Festival you will find more than 200 discounts and special offers. Look out for the sugary sculpture by Cupcake Central and enjoy the free events and activities.
Melbourne Central Shopping Centre is one of the larger shopping centres in the Melbourne CBD. Melbourne Central Shopping Centre is built above Melbourne Central train station.
The Shopping Centre is on the corner of LaTrobe and Swanston Streets. It covers two city blocks, extending to Lonsdale Street and Elizabeth Street. There are over 300 shops within Melbourne Central Shopping Centre.

Food Trucks Melbourne street foodies will be at McIntyre Alley on Level 1 to celebrate the One Day Shopping Festival.
