Drawing inspiration from the iconic Seinfeld sitcom, Melbourne Central is having a 14 Day Festivus from Mon 11 to Sun 24 December 2017 at 211 La Trobe St, Melbourne. Opening early and closing late every night until 25 Dec, enjoy a series of one-off events, activations, pop-ups and parties. Feed your face with early bird foodie freebies, slay with express morning makeovers and just get amongst crazy Christmas party vibes.

Whether you come along and enjoy a custom-made Marissa Tomei cocktail, partake in some Maria Carey-oke, or dance to the modernised 'silent night', at the precinct's very first silent disco, there's a two week Festivus packed with socialising, food, beauty and community causes, underpinned by the hilarious Festivus anti-Christmas theme covered in the hit-show's 1997 episode 'The Strike', waiting for you. Air your grievances like Frank Costanza or celebrate with a host of activities with friends and family at this 14-day fusion of food, dance, culture, beauty and fun pop culture, foodie haven, Festivus is proof that miracles do occur. Mon 11 Dec, 6-9pm - Costanza's Cocktail Club , level 2, near Sass & Bide. Legends from George's Bar in Fitzroy will bring you a one-night-only Costanza-ganza with free cocktails, trivia by Seinfeld Daily and giveaways! Come in costume as your favourite character and you could win a spot prize for best-dressed.

Tue 12 Dec, 8-10pm - Merry Mash-Up TV Marathon , level 3, Hoyts . Pre-register at Hoyts from 5pm. This free event is limited to the first 200 guests that register on the night. Bring your binge-watch buddies for a mash-up of all the Christmas episodes.

Wed 13 Dec, 6pm until sold out - Dough Ho Ho Festivus Flour Market , level 2, Link Bridge. Bring some cash and an empty tummy for some special seasonal sweets and classics at this not-to-be-missed festive foodie fete.

Thu 14 Dec, 7-10pm - Maria Carey-oke , level 3, PartyWorld . Pre-register at PartyWorld from 5pm to have yourself a Maria-y little Christmas. Free entry and drinks; say no more! Dress like a diva and sing along to your fave Maria carols.

Fri 15 Dec, 6-9pm - Yacht Club DJs Silent Disco , level 2 near Sass & Bide. Pre-register from 5pm; party kicks off at 7pm. Limited to 200 guests for free entry. Grab some headphones and dance like no-one's watching or listening at this special set by Yacht Club DJs .

Sat 16 Dec, 5-8pm - Festivus Fugly Foto Fiesta , level 2, near Sass & Bide. Dress up in you're-so-awful-that-you're-awesome Xmas jumpers with your squad for hilariously hideous Christmas pics and enjoy a freebie drink or two. Score spot prizes when you rock up in your own cringe-worthy Christmas outfit for the bestworst OOTDs. Bar 18 plus only.

Sun 17 Dec, 4-8pm or until it runs out - Pizza-mas Party , Hungry Bear , ground level, Menzies Alley. Chomp on free festive pizza/Christmas dishes on a slice, as you enjoy the DJ spinning festive tunes.

Mon 18 Dec, 8-11am - Avo' Good Christmas, level 2, Billy's Central. Limited to the first 200 people. Indulge for the love of avo for free as it's being sliced, smashed and dished out. Post a selfie in front of Billy's Central on your Insta and tag @billycentral, and show them in-store for your free smashed avo brekky.

Tue 19 Dec, 8-11am - Pancake Pick-Me-Up, level 3, The Pancake Parlour . Limited to the first 200 people. Be an early bird and get a free treat at The Pancake Parlour. Snap a selfie in front of it and post to your Insta tagging @pancakeparlour for your ticket to a free pancake breakfast.

Wed 20 Dec, 8-11am - Silly Season Salvation The first 200 people to post a pic on the day will sip on a free brekky smoothie.

Thu 21 Dec, 8-11am - Morning Makeovers with 3INA, level 1, next to The Tinsel Room. Get a free makeover from 3INA 's makeup artists for a little morning glam up and glow to get your day started!

Fri 22 Dec, 8-11am - Morning Makeovers with MAC, level 1, next to the Tinsel Room. Slay on your last day of work with the perfect MAC pout and look as fierce as hell.

Sat 23 Dec, 9am-9pm & Sun 24 Dec, 9am-6pm - Festivus Feelgood, level 2, near Sass & Bide. Pay it forward. Share all your feel-good moments and spread the love. When you shop this weekend, redeem your receipts for Festivus tokens and drop your token into a large jar to nominate one of three charities at a cost of nothing to you to give to them, but a huge feel-good moment.

Wrap & Send, level 2, outside Peter Alexander. Another way to pay-it-forward. Get your pressies wrapped by STREAT volunteers and delivered with Retail Runner, and proceeds will be donated on your behalf. All gift wrapping proceeds will go to STREAT.
