Sharks of Shipwreck Cove will open for one month only at the Melbourne Aquarium. Running from Boxing Day (December 26th) until January 31st, 2012, the Sharks of Shipwreck Cove exhibit features a full scale replica of a shipwreck, surrounded by over twenty Australian sharks, including Blacktip reef sharks, Dusky sharks, Whiskery sharks and Tawny nurse sharks.

There will be a range of daily family friendly events coinciding with this special exhibit at the Melbourne Aquarium, including shark feedings.

Also at the Melbourne Aquarium these Summer holidays is the Antarctica exhibit, where you can meet King penguins and Gentoo penguins.

Given that Happy Feet Two is released on Boxing Day (December 26th), the Melbourne Aquarium are offering patrons a 10% discount on the general admission fee, if a Happy Feet Two cinema ticket is presented.

This offer is valid from December 26th until January 31st, 2012.

To keep up to date with all of the special events and activities, check the Melbourne Aquarium website, Melbourne Aquarium Facebook profile and Melbourne Aquarium Twitter regularly.

The Melbourne Aquarium is extending opening hours until 8pm from the January 1st to 26th, 2012.
