More than a coffee cafe
There are four dedicated restaurants/cafés in the Market Place with Melba's one of them. Apart from the food court, there are also three mainly takeaway outlets that provide 'in house' seating.

Cafe sign
We are here.

Melba's is very popular and always busy, particularly at lunch time.

We have eaten there many times, both for lunch and morning tea, with the staff friendly, always remembering you.

The service is very quick and the food is freshly cooked and good.

Chicken burger
Not Hungry? A chicken burger will do.

Their menu ranges from just coffee and cake to snacks and full meals.

Big Brekky
One of my favourites - a big breakfast sans eggs for me.

Mirrors along two walls give the appearance of being in a larger area. Daily specials are listed on the mirrors. The mirrors also have the added advantage that if you are facing them you can see what's going on behind you.

Cafe interior
Must be lunchtime. Mirrors acting as specials board around the walls.

For those that are in a hurry, a good range of takeaway snacks is always available, with freshly carved beef and pork sandwiches popular with the passing patrons.

Cafe interior
Take-away counter, coffee machine and cake display.

You don't have to sing for your supper at Melba's, just pay their reasonable prices.
