Search the Gardens for megafauna, ancient plants & more

This winter, step back in time on a family adventure trail and meet the enormous creatures that inspire myths and legends, art and culture.

From 1 - 31 July, the Australian National Botanic Gardens invites families to search the Gardens to find megafauna, ancient plants and more.

Let your imagination run wild and daydream about what it was like to live with these gigantic animals.

Pick up your map from the Visitor Centre to start your journey!

MEGAfauna: Myths & Legends is a FREE event, open from 8.30 am -5.00 pm daily.

It is an enjoyable school holiday experience suitable for adults and families alike. The trail is wheelchair and pram accessible.
