Meet and greet Captain Barnacle and his sub-aquatic friend every day from 11am to 2pm until Sunday 5 October, plus related interactive sessions including an Octonauts quiz trail and a chance to win a variety of Octonauts-themed goodies during daily presentations.
Captain Barnacles; the brave polar bear captain of the Octonauts and sidekick Kwazii; the daredevil cat with a mysterious pirate past, have ventured out of the launch bay and into Melbourne Aquarium. Organised queues are filled with excited children around the Aquarium cafeteria, ready for a moment to stand alongside their favourite marine adventurers, with plenty of photograph opportunities to capture on your smart phones.
There will also be ample opportunity to 'explore, rescue, protect' and discover Melbourne Aquarium's 12 amazing zones; Conservation Cove, Bay of Rays, Mangroves and Rockpools, Coral Caves, Shipwreck Explorer, Mermaid Garden, Ocean Discovery, Penguin Playground, Coral Atoll, Rainforest Adventure, Seahorse Pier, and the world's largest Saltwater Crocodiles in the state-of-the-art Croc Lair.
With a regular schedule of educational experiences including a croc talk, a tropical fish feed and a meet the penguin keeper, there are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy these school holidays.
