Meet the Mullets are peeved about theatre being cancelled thanks to Corona-19 but that's not going to keep them down! REGISTER (limited spots, so do it now) for their DEBUT PLAY on Sunday 30 August 2020 from 8-9pm when they drop the whole 5 part series; so join them for the WATCH PARTY. Find more details on the event page. This is a mockumentary about a passionate theatre troupe of blokes and their mums. Forced to stop work through a global pandemic, in this twisted character comedy, The Travelling Sisters don various mullets to portray three families on the brink.

Born from the cancellation of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival The T Sisters took their characters from their live show Thy Thus 'Twas and set up a series of complete silliness. It's their love letter to fellow artists dealing with the pandemic and completely relatable to parents as well. You have Darryl, nursing a broken heart while trying to keep the flame of theatre alive and witnessing too many details of his mother's new marriage. Berrick his protégé struggles to fit into his father's share-house while his mother goes hardcore on self-isolation and awakening. Then there's Vinnie, stuck in an AirBnB, happiest drinking choc milk and watching tv while his mother cancels all her engagements.

Each actor plays multiple characters and wrote the series with their collaborator Kimberley Twiner and filmed it with Jemma Cotter. You're in for a fun time as this trio have toured nationally and internationally to Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Clockenflap Festival (Hong Kong), Prague Fringe, New Zealand Fringe, Glastonbury Festival, Perth Fringe and more.

Jemma Cotter is a filmmaker based in Melbourne. She graduated with a Bachelor of Film and Television (Hons) from Swinburne University of Technology. Accolades for her films include a Highly Commended award from Tropfest amidst extensive national screenings with CinefestOZ, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Fringe, and For Film's Sake Festival and more.

Kimberley Twiner is a Melbourne based physical comedian, director, producer and teacher. She specializes in devised physical comedy, ensemble work and clowning. She is founder of award-winning queer comedy troupe PO PO MO CO. She is co-director of a contemporary clowning company Fish and Twiner's Bait Shop who have also won awards nationally and internationally. She is the founder of the Melbourne Physical Theatre School.
