Shop with the artists for unique gifts
The convent Gallery in Abbotsford now opens its door to another unique event - the Makers Market, the place for artisan handicrafts and wares.

If you love to know the story behind the products you are purchasing or you wish to give a gift that somebody handcrafted and lovingly made for you and has the story with it, then this is the market for you.

From soy candles and handmade clothing to all sorts of yummy treats and beautiful jewellery you will be able to buy direct from the makers

It is open the third Sunday of every month

It is located near the Yarra River and the Collingwood Children's Farm and is surrounded by lovely gardens, a great little animal nursery and convent buildings, complete with studios, galleries, great restaurants and cafés and workshop spaces

You can park across the road for six dollars and the funds from this parking will go towards the upkeep of the conference buildings
