The AFL footy season is nearly on us again and this year, The Gold Coast SUNS have a few family-friendly events that are free for young and old to enjoy to kick start the season, starting this Thursday. The Gold Coast SUNS have an open beach training session available for everyone to come along and watch these athletes in action. This pre-season training session is a must for any SUNS fan, who wants a selfie or two with their favourite player or the club mascots Skye and Sunny Ray. This event is a family-friendly free event with loads of activities for the kids to enjoy, giveaways, free coffee (along with a Gold Coast Suns keep cup). The SUNS beach training session is at Pirate Park, Palm Beach on Thursday January 23rd, from 8am to 10am.

If you can't make it this Thursday don't stress, as The SUNS 2020 Season Launch is happening on Friday January 31st from 5pm to 8pm at Hotel Of The Arts (HOTA) Outdoor Stage, Surfers Paradise. The 2020 season launch is not to be missed as it is a historical moment for the club to celebrate it's very first AFL Women's Season. The launch party will see live music from DJ Fletcher, meet and greet with players, women's and men's guernsey presentations, free kids activities and food trucks for everyone to enjoy and explore. This is a great event to bring the family to and not to worry about cooking dinner for the night. For further information visit
