There’s something for everyone at this friendly bookstore
Australians are encouraged to shop locally, and independent, family-owned Books@Stones/Allmedic Book Supplies offers consumers many incentives to do just that. Owned by Karen and Michael Weibler, the store enjoys a central location in the Stones Corner shopping and café strip located 4km south of the Brisbane CBD. Books written by Australian authors are a speciality, and author talks are a regular event.

Book club Love discussing books? Then why not join the book club facilitated by Karen on the last Wednesday of each month at 6PM. Club members mostly discuss contemporary or classical Australian fiction.
Groups Community, business, or study groups can book either of the two onsite meeting rooms that are available for casual day hire. The larger room seats up to 15 people and the smaller room seats up to 8 people, depending on furniture configuration. Air conditioning, whiteboard, and wifi access are included in the room hire.
This warm, welcoming store has much to offer. Karen and Michael are passionate about promoting Australian authors and stories, and have become a much loved constant in the ever-evolving Stones Corner shopping and café strip.
