The 2,500 year old practice known as meditation has been known to relieve stress, improve attention and memory, elevate creativity and assist people to develop more meaningful relationships. Deep healing and connection within can be some of the benefits of mindful awareness, all achievable through becoming attuned to thoughts and actions.

Over four weeks, Phoenix Yoga Studios will move through the basics of meditation focusing on mindful awareness. Participants will discover what meditation is, how mindfulness can be implemented, and the techniques that can bring calm and attentiveness to daily life.
There's a daytime or evening stream to choose from. The daytime stream runs for four weeks from Thursday June 6 from 1.30pm to 2.15pm. The evening stream runs for four weeks from Wednesday June 19 from 7.00pm to 7.45pm.
The four-week course covers four main topics: What is mindfulness? Why do we do it? Having the right motivation
How do we do it? (Four techniques to bring calm and attentiveness)
