And This One's for Real
Ever get the feeling that something's not quite right, whether with you, the world or both? Well, you may be right, more and more people at this important stage of our evolution seeking something beyond the ordinary, the mundane, the superficial and problematic.
Enter Sahaja 'Yoga' Meditation, the 'yoga' part referring not to physical postures and contortions, but to its original, true meaning, 'union', both with oneself and with forces greater than oneself, whatever that may mean to you. As for 'Sahaja', it means 'born with'. Put them together and we are 'born with union'.
The realisation, or manifestation of that union, as well as giving us peace and unimaginable bliss, unites our whole, integrated, spirited self with that creative force we spoke of earlier, the same force, entity, energy, current, call it what you will, that makes flowers bloom, trees grow, the moon wax and wane, the sun shine by day and sleep at night, the seas rise and fall - easily, naturally, innately.
The really cool thing about being born with union is that it's already in us. This short video will explain it better than me.
It's not hoo-ha, nor a set of beliefs systems or theories, already enough of those floating about, but something you can actually feel, a true awakening of that spirited self we've all known, but lose, feel fleetingly, but can't seem to hold onto, that elation that makes us feel truly alive, free and more 'me' than anything.
Even cooler is the fact that the itch that needs scratching, the oomph that needs freeing, the desire to be free of shackles and shine just needs activating. And a little practising.
Cooler still (I know!) is that activating it is easy (and non-invasive), and that a loving and very wise lady, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, first discovered the process in 1970 - and that four experienced and dedicated teams are travelling north, south, east and west across our great land to give you that awakening opportunity - for free.
After all, how can we charge for what is already innately yours? That'd be like charging for your breath. Or charging flowers for the privilege of blooming. How silly!
Oh, and by the way, or not by the way at all actually, once you've achieved true meditation – not the mindful fluff and expensive stuff that clutters the minds of many of today's seekers – but a state of thoughtless awareness so your very own newly-activated spiritual energy flows through you unimpeded, you may feel its vibrations manifest as a cool breeze on your hands, face and head. Now, that's cool!
So are WeekendNotes' informative articles that'll give you more of the low-down on both Sahaja Yoga and upcoming events in WA, SA, the ACT, Melbourne and Geelong.
Can't get to one of those either? (But, do try.) It's still cool, the awakening process as well as ongoing live meditations available online, whether at the former link via 6 excellent, short videos, here several times a week, or via these wonderful monthly webcasts.
With easy access to finding peace and inner bliss in our own home and very own being every single day, we really are blessed.
I'll say no more, as the truth lies in my telling, but in your experiencing. Are you ready?
I better fly too and get ready, maybe meeting some of you on the Adelaide leg - or in Geelong in Victoria, the music and meditation event promising to be one of the best yet.
