From tasty toasties to hearty breakfast now offered weekdays
While it's already been a hit with their meatball menu and great wine offering, The Meatball & Wine Bar on Flinders Lane is now offering a breakfast menu that'll becoming equally popular with CBD workers as they serve up tasty toasties and more Monday to Friday mornings.

The Flinders Lane location has launched a menu that includes several non-traditional breakfast menu items, which is great if you're over the typical poached eggs and simply want something that's easy to take back to your desk on weekday mornings. The menu includes items such as the great Aussie toastie on your choice of bread with flavours that are certain to hit the spot including bolognese, mushroom with pork sausage, salumi and fontina cheese (pictured below) and for your sweet tooth, Nutella with banana.

For those who are seeking a something a little more traditional, the avocado Caprese is a fresh take on the traditional Caprese salad with fresh avocado, heirloom tomato, basil and mozzarella served with toasted quinoa bread.

Those wanting something light and delish are going to love the home-made crumpets served with honeycomb butter or lemon curd.

Menu items also include the Breakfast Hero, mixing traditional breakfast faves with a cheeky twist such as truffle scrambled eggs bacon, spinach, mozarella and basil.

Coffee is served up from the fine folks at Dukes and the best part (for CBD workers or those staying in the city); you can ring in your order ahead of time and pick it up on the way to the office.
