Collingwood may be hot favourite to claim a second straight premiership this AFL season, but its infamous cheer squad leader, Joffa Corfe, has something else to deal with before then.

When he's not sitting in the Ponsford Stand as the head of the 'Black & White Army', Joffa appears at Melbourne City Wrestling events as the manager of one of its young stars, Adam "The Protege" Brooks.

Unsurprisingly presented as a villain, Joffa typically gets on the microphone and goads the crowd before looking for any opportunity to guide his charge to victory. At MCW's last show at the Dragonfly Restaurant in August, Joffa got more than he bargained for when former ally, Matt "The Juggernaut" Silva, stormed into the ring and delivered a knockout blow to the Collingwood tragic. Joffa will now be seeking retribution and the fallout will take place on Friday September 30th when MCW returns to the Dragonfly to present its 'Grand Final Eve Showdown'. MCW has released a statement saying it will provide Joffa with an opportunity to confront Silva over his actions but has warned that it will not be responsible for any further physical attacks.

There'll be plenty of other action on the night including a tag team main event that will see Dowie James and Danny Psycho take on Carlo Cannon and MCW Champion Slex, as well as a women's match involving Shazza McKenzie and Harley Wonderland.

The matches start at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 6pm. Tickets are $10 for all ages excluding the price of a meal, and tables can be booked by phoning the Dragonfly Restaurant on (03) 9330 3111.
