Let's get our hands dirty at McConnell Ave Reserve Planting Day on Saturday, 11 May 2024, starting from 9.30 am to 2 pm, and help make our community greener!

This fun-filled day of planting native trees and shrubs at McConnell Ave Reserve west, McConnell Avenue, Marino, is the perfect way for you and your family to make a difference in this unique reserve in Marino.

Sam Ryan from the City of Marion's greening team will be providing 400 Australian native tube stock seedlings suitable for this Marino site. The site will be pre-prepared. No digging will be required - just plant, fill, guard and water. No experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and gardening gloves! Event organiser will provide all the tools and guidance needed. Instructions will be given on the day. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes.

Let's work together to beautify our community and create a greener environment for everyone to enjoy. Come and be a part of this exciting initiative to make our neighbourhood more vibrant and eco-friendly! Morning tea will be provided for all volunteers.
