'The Maze Runner' is a 2014 Action, Mystery, Sci-Fi film staring Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario and Will Poulter. It is directed by Wes Ball and written by Noah Oppenheim, Grant Pierce Myers, T.S. Nowlin and James Dashner.

It's the story of Thomas (O'Brien) who awakes up in an elevator in the middle of nowhere.

He emerges to find he's surrounded by about 60 boys who proceed to tell him they are inside a maze. At first, Thomas can't even remember his own name, but that comes back to him, but nothing else about his life does. This isn't uncommon - none of the boys remember anything except their names.

Thomas learns they are all trapped in a maze where people called runners assemble each morning and enter the maze in hope of finding a way out.

Just when all hope is lost a girl called Teresa (Kaya Scodelario) enters the maze through the elevator with a note "She's the last one", Thomas knows her name, but doesn't know how. Is she their secret weapon?, Will they finally escape or is this the end?
