It's not Myotherapy, you don't have to book weeks ahead, it's not dependent on the staff you end up with, and it just seems to be to the best massage around.

I always carry my stress in the neck so I often wake up with a stiff and sore neck and shoulders. I have pretty much been everywhere to help relieve my neck stiffness and soreness.



In the past I have found some walk in, no appointment massage stores in shopping centres to be variable at best. It depends on the day and the people who are the masseurs as to whether you will leave feeling better or not. Massages can be disappointing if it's not the right pressure or don't reach the sore areas.

However, I have never had a disappointing massage at Max Therapy on the bottom level of the Greensborough shopping plaza. Even if you only have five minutes or so to spare you can pretty much guarantee you will get a massage to suit you.

Max Therapy has a Remedial massage service on the weekends and by appointment, which are sensational. Otherwise you can just walk in. The staff is friendly and obliging.

When I first went there I discovered a lady who I thought I would always pick in future. But to my disappointment the next time I went she wasn't there. As I really needed a massage I sat down to someone else and was pleasantly surprised that he also gave me the best massage. It doesn't worry me anymore who I get because the massage always seems to hits the right spot.



I think I figured out the winning approach. Not long into the massage they ask about the pressure. They are responsive to working harder or softer according to your taste. I really like the fact that they are pretty firm with massage and they can easily and happily adjust up or down if requested. They all seem to ask a number of times how you are feeling and if the pressure suits you. There is never a rush to leave even if they are busy, they offer water and have a loyalty program. You only need to go five times before you get a free massage.

The massage times are tailored to suit you, as long or as short as you like, so fix that bit today for what you can afford. If you are like me you will be looking forward to the next weekend for your Max Fix.
