Max Brenner Chocolate Shop

I have always thought of myself as having more of a savoury tooth rather than a sweet tooth. My wife, on the other hand, would trade me in for a bar of chocolate in a heartbeat. Chocolate is her one true love that keeps me firmly in second place. Armed with this knowledge, I entered on the corner of Clarendon and Dorcas Street with great trepidation.
Every wife's dream.
Normally I would avoid any kind of chocolate or sweet shop, especially with my wife. I know that her afternoon of joy will be replaced by an evening of guilt and will end up with me being dragged for a lap or three around Albert Park Lake, the following day, as punishment for our sins. However, on this particular afternoon, the cold wind was biting, so I was more than happy to simply get indoors.
Nothing beats a big old pot of kilojoules.
Neither of us were overly hungry so we decided to share the Toffee Choc-Nut Waffles. This little creation was made up of two Belgian Waffles drizzled with toffee and served with ice cream, caramelised pecan nuts and pure melted chocolate. I paid for this quickly for fear of being sold into slavery.
The reason we go to gym.
I must confess that this dish was illegally scrumptious and we had to drag ourselves out of the place before ordering any more and throwing a few more laps around the park. Some of the most delicious chocolate I have ever tasted.
