Studying media/law at UNSW. Can't decide between being a journalist like Clark Kent, a lawyer like Elle Woods or running an inn like Lorelai Gilmore. Until then...I write.

If life is a box of chocolates, make yours Max Brenner
We all get a chocolate craving at some point in our week (or for some of us, it's a daily fixture), and it is common knowledge - or should be- that Max Brenner is the best cafe for all things chocolate.

The newest Max Brenner has just opened up on the University of New South Wales campus, drawing all the students to it. It's locate on lower campus, near the IGA and Moochi frozen yoghurt. It offers a wide variety of hot and cold drinks, including about nine different types of hot chocolate.

As you walk in, you are greeted with the aroma of warm melted chocolate, urging you to order quickly so that the taste may match its scent. All the Max Brenners are furnished with dark brown wooden tables and chairs, as if you needed any more reminder of chocolate.

In addition to the drinks, there's plenty to eat. Chocolate souffle, waffles, strawberries dipped in chocolate, and chooclate pizzas are only a few of the items offered. When you eat there, they present the food nice on a plate, with an extra chocolate drizzle. Even a simple snack like a cookie is arranged nicely for you!

As well as hot foods like chocolate pizzas and Belgian waffles, they sell packaged chocolates, perfect for gifts or simply taking home to snack on!

My personal favourite isn't actually a chocolate dish - it's the cappuccino! They use 100% Arabica coffee and drizzle some hot melted chocolate on top, served with a small piece of chocolate. It's like having the best of both worlds; quality coffee with a rich chocolately topping. (And it's only $3.60!)

Max Brenner is perfect for a gathering with friends, but it is a bit pricey. Because of the price, and because most of the items are rich and filling, you probably wouldn't get a drink and food - but it is extremely tempting! It's times like these when you split the waffle with your friend and get your own drink!

If life really is like a box chocolates, the chocolates you want to be sure to get are from Max Brenner.
