Taking the place of Renno Spice Chinese Restaurant , continues the trend of offering Chinese cuisine. Complimentary prawn crackers are offered when you dine in to sate your hunger while waiting for your dishes to arrive.

The pieces of chicken in the Braised Chicken & Salted Fish with Tofu Hot Pot were cooked just right and the various vegetables still retained a bit of bite. We particularly liked that the dish included a generous amount of salted fish to give the dish its characteristic salty taste. The chunks of tofu provided a good foil with its plainer taste.



As its name suggests, the Vegetable Omelette included a melody of vegetables, which gave the dish its firm texture. Among the vegetables was broccoli, a vegetable that is not normally seen in such a dish. The omelette was well done with a soft and fluffy texture and fried to a golden brown.



The fish in the Salt & Pepper Fish Fillet could easily be flaked apart with a fork, with the batter coating providing a nice contrast. The salt and pepper seasoning the fish was tossed in was not too salty and included a bit of chilli for a hint of heat. Fried rice noodles acted as a bed for the fish and helped to balance out the saltiness.



The décor of the restaurant gave it a slightly formal feel. A few lunch specials are available to make eating there more affordable for those that visit during lunchtime.
