Great cafe for lazy lunches
This bright spot is located on Mawson Road in the leafy town of Meadows. It is the perfect place for a pit stop if you are driving through the hills or even if you are looking for a place to park your tired self for the afternoon and just watch the world go by in the company of great food and coffee.
New life to an old building
The old school brick building has been smartly transformed into a café with indoor and outdoor dining areas and the décor is very relaxed with farm house touches and plenty of natural light. This café also has lots of items for sale: jewellery, home décor, paintings, local wines and natural remedies.
Mawson House Café offers a menu full of popular dishes: curries, burgers, fish and chips, toasted sandwiches, pastas, soups and salads. However big or small your appetite is, you will find something to satisfy it. The coffee is just as good, and if you are looking for something sweet, there is a huge variety of pies, cakes, gluten free treats and slices. If you are a chocolate lover you must try their brownies.
Next time you are around the Meadows area and looking for a quick bite, a coffee fix or a memorable meal, be sure to visit the Mawson House Café.
